Nearby Saint Bertrand de Comminges is a majestic place and listed one of the most beautiful villages in France. The medieval village and its Cathedral, Sainte Marie from 1083 are steeped in history. Hidden behind the Cathedral are the beautiful cloisters, which will take you on a journey back through time. The site dates back to the Romans in 72BC, there are many remains at the site of the settlements including the thermal baths the theatre.

The village is busy in summer months with small local artisans selling produce.There are a few cafes and restaurants for refreshments. It is a lovely place to sit and imagine the lifetimes before you.
